Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt saw his rookie season end a bit early on Sunday afternoon.
Hyatt, a third-round selection by the New York Giants in the 2023 NFL Draft, was ruled out of the Giants' matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles due to an injured hamstring.
The former Vol caught one pass for five yards before his injury on Sunday.
#Lions TE Sam LaPorta most likely suffered a hyperextension and a bone bruise on his left knee based on the initial MRI postgame, per source. Team likely won't know his playoff outlook for a few days.

Hyatt finished his rookie season with 23 receptions for 373 yards and zero touchdowns. His best game came in late November in a win against the New England Patriots when he caught five passes for 109 yards.
The Giants' poor offensive line play combined with a revolving door at quarterback contributed to Hyatt's limited production in 2023.
