Teenager Brazilian striker Vitor Roque has been offered to Inter Milan as his story at Barcelona looks set to come to an end.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The Gazzetta report that Inter would seriously consider signing Roque on loan.

19-year-old striker Roque has only been a Barcelona player for a few months.

The Blaugranas agreed a deal with Athletico Paranaense to sign the young forward last summer.

However, as part of that deal, Roque remained at the Brazilian club until the end of December. Then, he made the switch to Barcelona officially in January of this year.

Things have not quite gone according to plan for Roque at the Camp Nou.

The 19-year-old has made just eleven appearances for Barcelona. Only two of those have come as a starter.

Despite Roque’s undoubted talent, there is a sense that Barcelona coach Xavi does not regard him as anywhere near first-choice in attack ahead of other options.

Therefore, Roque is looking destined to leave the Camp Nou this summer.

Vitor Roque Offered To Inter Milan – Could Depart Barcelona On Loan

Having initially announced his decision to leave Barcelona, legendary former midfielder Xavi then reversed that decision.

With Xavi staying on the bench, it looks clear that Roque is not in the plans.

The Brazilian wants to leave. His priority is to find more playing time next season.

And according to the Gazzetta, Roque’s representatives have made contact with Inter to indicate that the striker would fancy a move.

The 19-year-old believe that he could carve out a prominent role for himself in the Inter attack, the Gazzetta reports.

And according to the newspaper, Inter are seriously considering taking the opportunity to sign Roque.

A transfer for the Brazilian would be feasible if it is a loan move.

Despite the fact that Barcelona invested €60 million in signing Roque, they would already be willing to loan the teenager out.

The Gazzetta report that Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson remains Inter’s top target in attack.

However, a move for Roque could be just behind Gudmundsson in the Nerazzurri’s thinking.
